Noida to get first cord blood bank next year – The Times of India.

NOIDA: The city is all set to get its first cord blood bank and research centre next year. Rotary Blood Bank has begun work the project which is estimated to cost around Rs 7 crore. The centre would offer the facility of storing stem cells at rates lower than other such banks in the NCR. Rotary Blood Bank is also formulating an awareness programme to educate more number of families about the importance of storing stem cells of children after birth.  Read More
